Artist Statement

"My work stems from a quest to understand how we perceive the world and what we choose to see in it. I paint skies, clouds, and seemingly serene scenes that, upon closer inspection, reveal deeper tensions: the human impact on nature, the contradictions of progress, and the invisible structures that shape our reality."

"I work in oil painting as a way to stop time. In a context dominated by immediacy, my process is slow, almost meditative. Each stroke is an invitation to look more closely, to question the obvious, and to reconnect with what is essential. Clouds are a central element in my work. I am interested in their ambiguous nature: they are constantly transforming, and yet we all project something onto them. They function as a metaphor for human perception, for how our experiences condition what we see. I'm not looking to give answers, but to generate questions."
