Shipping policy
How we ship
Art of Noma ships worldwide from Mexico City. Every work is packed by hand to professional art-handling standards — archival materials, and a purpose-built crate or double-walled box as the piece requires. Unframed canvases travel rolled or flat-packed; sculpture and ceramic are foam-blocked and double-boxed. Every shipment is fully insured for its full value.
Cost
Shipping is charged on every order and is priced by the size and weight of the work. Rates are calculated automatically at checkout for Mexico, the United States, Canada, most of Europe and South America. If your country is not listed at checkout, write to hello@artofnoma.com before ordering and we will quote the route and crating directly.
We do not offer free shipping. Proper crating for original artwork costs real money, and we would rather charge it honestly than fold it into the price of the work.
How long it takes
Most works are dispatched within five to seven business days, because originals are crated to order rather than pulled from a shelf. Once a work has shipped, delivery is typically:
- Mexico City — same or next day
- Elsewhere in Mexico — one to two days
- International — seven to twenty-one days, depending on route and customs
Larger or unusually fragile pieces may take longer to prepare. If a deadline matters, tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.
Collection in person
If you are in Mexico City you are welcome to collect your work in person, free of charge, by appointment. Write to hello@artofnoma.com or message +52 55 3066 9242 on WhatsApp and we will arrange a time.
Tracking
Tracking details are sent to you by email as soon as your order ships.
Customs, duties and import taxes
Import duties, taxes and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are set by your government, not by us. Original artwork enters many countries at a reduced or zero rate. We declare every shipment accurately and provide full documentation to ease clearance. We will not under-declare the value of a work.
Damage in transit
Photograph the packaging and the piece immediately and contact us the same day at hello@artofnoma.com. Every shipment is insured, and we handle the claim ourselves. Please keep all packaging until the matter is resolved.
