Catherine Earnshaw (2) is the second iteration of JoCa's interpretation of a portrait of Catherine Earnshaw in the series "Echoes of Haworth," inspired by the Brontë sisters. In this 3-parter, JoCa interprets Emily Brontë's turbulent character Catherine "Cathy" Earnshaw from the acclaimed novel "Wuthering Heights." The artist has said they drew inspiration from Cathy's passionate and rebellious nature, all feeling, all emotion, no reason... and how the obsession she felt for Heathcliff ended up taking over her entire identity and defining her very existence.
