Eroded DeLorean White Sculpture by Daniel Arsham
Eroded DeLorean White Sculpture by Daniel Arsham
Details
Eroded DeLorean (White) applies Daniel Arsham's fictional-archaeology approach to an instantly familiar car, presenting a symbol of futurism as something already excavated and weathered by imagined time. The work sits outside linear chronology — the future rendered as a relic, progress shown as decay, an icon recast as a ruin.
Cast in resin, plastic, and aluminum oxide, the white finish emphasizes crystalline erosion across the surface, deliberate breakdown standing in for age. Compact at 31 cm long and roughly 2.8 kg, it reads as a collectible artifact rather than a model. This example is numbered 156 of 500, produced by Arsham Editions.
