Open Your Eyes belongs to Jorge Tellaeche's body of structured abstraction, where the Mexican artist approaches transformation as geometry. The title works as both invitation and provocation — a call to attention, to seeing past the surface — and connects to the themes of transition and awareness that run through series like Open the Door and Perdiendo la forma. Aztec motif and symbol thread the composition, giving the abstraction a rooted, coded vocabulary.

Acrylic on canvas, the square 80-centimeter format holds the composition in balance, its bold color and layered planes carrying tension without disorder. The equal sides steady the eye; contrast and rhythm move it through the surface. Tellaeche keeps the gesture controlled, so the picture asserts itself through clarity rather than noise.
