Giselle Fenig treats abstraction as a form of inner vision, and Ojo Interior — “inner eye” — is one of the earliest points in that trajectory, the work whose title her later practice keeps returning to. It sets out her core concern: perception as something internal, shaped by intuition rather than what the eye reports.

Built in mixed media on paper, the surface layers marks that overlap and accumulate until the material itself carries the meaning. Nothing resolves into a fixed image; tone and texture shift under close looking, keeping the composition open and active.
