Your Soul Knows Original Painting by Fernanda Rivero

Your Soul Knows is one of the named works in Fernanda Rivero's intuitive practice, where she maps inner knowledge and emotional states onto the canvas. The title points to a certainty that sits beyond reason, and the painting treats the surface as a field to be felt rather than read — abstraction as the recording of a current.

It is materially dense: oil paint and oil stick, charcoal, spray paint and molding paste, all worked into raw canvas. Oil gives luminosity, the stick and charcoal supply direct marks, spray paint disperses across the surface, and the molding paste builds relief you can read as texture. At 140 × 120 cm it holds up close and at distance, and it is stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang.
