Desde el cielo — from the sky — extends Nuria Oliva's practice of memory and home into something more elevated, its title lifting the domestic register toward the atmospheric. It keeps company with her family-centered works, Recolectar y cocinar con la Abuela and the Piezas de lo que somos series, where the everyday is treated as something worth holding onto.

The work is acrylic, pastel, and oil on cotton canvas at 118 by 88 cm. Oliva layers the media so the upper field stays open and light while the surface below gathers texture, pastel catching on the weave.
