Piezas de lo que somos III comes from the series Nuria Oliva titles 'pieces of what we are,' an ongoing gathering of domestic ritual, femininity, and family into a single surface. Oliva paints the textures of memory and home, working across oil, acrylic, resin, and pastel to treat the everyday as something worth keeping rather than passing over.

Here the ground does much of the work: raw gray cotton is left partly bare, so the weave stays visible between built-up passages of oil. Forms accumulate in fragments — the 'pieces' of the title — layered and reassembled rather than resolved into one clean image. The restrained palette keeps attention on material and touch.
