Temporada de lluvias en Veracruz y Hyakunincho by Taeko Nomiya
Temporada de lluvias en Veracruz y Hyakunincho by Taeko Nomiya
Details
This photograph pairs two places at once — the rainy season in Veracruz and Hyakunincho in Tokyo — which is exactly the territory Taeko Nomiya works in, the space between Japan and Mexico. She is less interested in either location than in what they share: a weather, a rhythm, a mood that carries across distance.
Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl 285 gsm, the surface holds contrast and detail while preserving the soft tonal shifts that rain and low light call for. It comes in two sizes, each an edition of 6, signed with the artist's personal hanko seal, and ships framed in a wooden matte-white frame with no glass, ready to hang.
