Original Paintings

Original Paintings

Original paintings at Art of NOMA are one-of-a-kind works selected for their authorship, material presence, and lasting relevance. Each piece exists as a singular object — defined by the artist's hand, surface, and process — meant to be owned, lived with, and collected over time. Our painters range from hyperrealists to pure abstractionists, working in oil, acrylic and mixed media across figuration, surrealism and gesture.

Among the painters here are JoCa, whose fractured portraits explore identity and technology; Karlos Ibarra and Tori Pounds, working the human figure as emotional truth; Aurora Kalos in the surreal and hyperreal; and Jorge Tellaeche in abstraction. Explore the full roster of artists.

Several of these painters work within a movement currently being rewritten — meet the artists redefining contemporary surrealism, or read how Mexico's most exciting contemporary artists are working today. New to collecting? Learn how to buy original art online with Art of NOMA.
