Why this page exists

Art of NOMA sells art and publishes recommendations about art. Those two jobs can pull against each other. Readers should never have to guess which one they are reading. This page says how we keep them apart.

Four labels

Every story and listing carries one of these labels.

Label What it means
Gallery news Announcements from Art of NOMA: shows, new artists, new publications.
Gallery inventory (“Available at Art of NOMA”) Work we represent and sell. We have a commercial interest in it.
Partner content / Sponsored Paid or supplied by a partner. Always labelled.
Independent coverage Shows and artists we do not represent, chosen on merit.

Partner and sponsored content never appears inside a review. It is kept on its own page, with its own label at the top.

Disclosure of commercial interest

When a story features work from our own inventory, the last paragraph says so. For example: “Art of NOMA represents this artist and sells the works mentioned.” Independent coverage carries no such line because we have no interest to disclose.

Bylines, dates and credits

Every story shows its author and its publication date. Updates carry their own date. Images are credited to the artist, the photographer or the venue that supplied them.

Sources

We link primary sources when they exist: the venue, the artist, the institution. Dates and hours for exhibitions are checked against the venue before we publish them. When we cannot confirm a detail, we say so or leave it out.

Corrections

If a story contains an error, write to hello@artofnoma.com with the subject “Correction” and the link. We fix the error and add a note at the end of the story that states what changed and when. We do not edit quietly.

Right of reply

Any artist, venue or gallery named in our coverage can send a reply. We add a factual reply to the story or publish it beside it.

How we use AI

We use AI tools for research, draft translations and transcription. A person reviews every published text, in both languages. Art is never generated: we do not publish AI-made images of artworks or in place of artworks. Selection of artists and of what to cover is a human decision.
