About this work

Eclipsed Village is a signed limited-edition print by Daniel Stara (b. 2000, Florida), whose surreal, impressionistic landscapes carry a post-apocalyptic charge. The title points to a place partly obscured — by light, shadow, or circumstance — making the work a meditation on what is hidden rather than fully revealed, a psychological landscape where atmosphere outweighs narrative.

Produced as a giclée on William Turner Hahnemühle 190 gsm paper, the print holds nuanced tonal gradations and a painterly surface. Its horizontal format draws the eye across a terrain where light, shadow, and form quietly interact.
