Carrie Bradshaw New Year's Eve draws on the same cultural world Natasha Joseph keeps returning to — the Carrie-Bradshaw nightlife, the glamour and ritual of modern social life. Made in 2025, this work on paper catches a familiar emotional register: vulnerability paired with hope, solitude edged with anticipation. The reference is affectionate and lightly satirical, less a scene than the feeling a scene leaves behind.

Joseph combines acrylic and oil pastels on paper — acrylic for structure and contrast, oil pastels for texture, warmth, and visible gesture.
