About this work

Pia is a limited-edition print from Alexandra Connolly, an artist who paints the texture of the city — graffiti, street culture, the visual noise of urban Mexico — while pulling toward quieter, more intimate registers. The title feels specific and personal, yet the image stays open, letting tone and composition guide the reading instead of narrative.
