About this work

TD6A001 is part of the ongoing rollage collaboration between Pepe Reyes and JoCa, made by cutting and reassembling a printed image. Its coded title favors method over narrative — system, sequence, and the variation that emerges through process. The work belongs to a series that translates painting into a layered, fragmented visual language.

The base is a giclée print on William Turner Hahnemühle 190 gsm paper, folded and repeated into a surface with sculptural depth. Archival printing keeps the tonal consistency while the rollage brings clarity and disruption into contact. In its 30-by-33-centimeter format the vertical progression is emphasized, the reassembled strips reading as both system and gesture.
